About this position

• Day, evening or weekend shifts available:
  • Daytime schedule: Monday to Friday noon from 6:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Evening schedule: Monday to Thursday from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
  • Weekend schedule: Friday to Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (paid 40h)
• You want to manage the production activities of the factory during your shift.
• You like factory personnel management (in collaboration with the union).
• You want to act as an intermediary between management and staff.
• The smooth running of your department’s operations is your priority.
• You wish to follow the sequences of predetermined operations according to the priorities established, the schedule of the projects, the availability of the personnel, the equipment and according to the raw materials.
• You can detect opportunities for improvement and then propose and apply the necessary correctives.
• For you, enforcing all health and safety rules is a priority.
• You want to ensure adequate training for new employees in your department.
• You can identify the training needs of your employees.
• You wish to carry out the annual performance evaluations and the follow-up of the objectives with your employees in collaboration with your supervisor.
• You want to get involved in managing disciplinary measures in partnership with the human resources department.
• You want to manage the application of the collective labor agreement.
