About this position

  • Carry out the engineering design of communications networks in collaboration with the automation project team already in place.
  • Provide vendor-assisted network assessment, switch configuration, wired and wireless network analysis, and virtual environment installation services.
  • Interact with the customers to perform additional on-site support, including isolation and resolution of technical issues, configuration or reconfiguration of switches, routers and firewalls, installation, relocations, or other modifications identified for active and physical network hardware.
  • Be autonomous in resolving requests for IT/Industrial Network services and ensure the follow-up of its customers until the end.

Required Profile

  • Bachelor’s or college degree in computer science, software, electricity or any training relevant to the position or significant experience in industrial networking.
  • Have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in similar functions.
  • Skills in L2 and L3 switching and routing.
  • Knowledge of VPN, NAT and Virtualization.
  • Excellent analytical and solving skills to diagnose problems.
  • Ability to apply basic design principles and layout architectures for clients.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to function effectively in a multi-team environment and adapt to multiple dynamic priorities that can change with little notice.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent command of English (bilingual).
