About this position
You want to offer technical support and be the reference for a family of Machinex equipment (knowledge, performance and cost related to these products).
You like to take charge of the technical aspect when a problem arises with Machinex equipment.
You want to have a link with the various sectors to guarantee the full functionality of your equipment.
You wish to ensure the standardization of your equipment.
As someone who values customer satisfaction, you recognize the significance of prioritizing their needs in the creation of your product while also considering its presentation and overall context.
You like to take charge of the development (observation analysis, brainstorming, design, calculation, test or other), the industrialization and the optimization of your equipment with a concern for reliability, performance and efficiency to respond and to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers (Equipment Milestone).
You want to create and update equipment documentation according to the evolution of the equipment.
You enjoy industrializing and optimizing equipment from the R&D department so that it is reliable, efficient and can meet Machinex standards.

To achieve product optimization, you want to bring proposals for best practices focused on Lean design (Poka-Yoké, anti-error, tenon/mortise, etc.). (Design of components (in terms of space and weight) while respecting the primary functions of the equipment, etc.).
You wish to be responsible for monitoring and maintaining, concerning the production department, an adequate cost price fixed either: by the markets, by the financial history of certain products, or even directly by a customer need and a price following an internal process of creating a new product. Required Profile
You have a background in mechanical engineering (diploma, degree or equivalent).
You can make calculations of the resistance of materials.
You are a leader with good communication skills.

You have good mechanical sense.
Your level of English will allow you to communicate with our team outside Quebec.
