About this position
You would like to design various industrial equipment.
You want to ensure the drawings and production plan meet the established concepts.
You would like to be responsible for developing and fine-tuning the equipment under your responsibility.
You want to support R&D quality control in developing tests for performance confirmation.
You want to offer technical support to the manufacturing team for your assigned projects.
You wish to participate in evaluating intellectual property (patents).
You want to offer technical support to other development projects that require your experience or expertise.
You wish to collaborate with the administrative project managers in the progress of the design through the product development process.
You would like to support the preparation of SRDE credit files.
You want to offer technical support to sales when preparing proposals for custom developments.
You want to support the after-sales service on various special requests.
Participation in producing technical documentation for new developments that interest you.
You want to collaborate and train product family managers (GFP) on new developments.

Required Profile
You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in machine design in an industrial environment.
You have experience in the design of machines involving the following areas of expertise: mechanics, electricity, pneumatics/hydraulics, robots, automatons, programming.
You have experience in modelling with finite elements (an asset).
You have a good understanding of physical phenomena.
You have good research and analysis skills, creativity and a sense of innovation.
You are a calm, thoughtful and optimistic person.
You have a positive attitude and an ability to find solutions.
You are organized, rigorous and meticulous.
You have an excellent sense of efficiency and good stress management.
