VISIT NORTH AMERICA’S LARGEST SINGLE STREAM MRF AT WASTE EXPO

APRIL 20, 2023 – Machinex is thrilled to bring at the 2023 Waste Expo in New Orleans, the opportunity to participate in a virtual tour of North America’s soon to be largest Residential Single Stream Material Recycling Facility, Rumpke Recycling and Resource Center. The tour will showcase the latest technological innovations that have kept Machinex at the forefront of providing high quality equipment for the recycling industry.

The brand new 56 TPH system will be located in Columbus, Ohio and is expected to open in 2024. According to Brad Goins, Machinex Project Director/Sales Engineering, “We will be providing best in class technology that will efficiently sort all recyclable materials, including papers, cardboard, HDPE, PET, PP, and mixed plastics from local residential and commercial curbside collection. Rumpke really did consider their future growth and how Machinex has the ablility to provide technology that will meet those future needs and keep them a recycling leader in the US.” At the Groundbreaking Celebration in February 2023, Rumpke’s Area President Andrew Rumpke stated, “Rumpke selected Machinex Technologies, an international leader in recycling technology, and they’re going to equip our new facility as the most technologically advanced recycling center. We are going to have 60 jobs and our advanced facility is going to have state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technology, optical scanners, and ballistic separators.
