MACHINEX TECHNOLOGIES DRIVING THE MODERNIZATION OF SINGLE-STREAM RECYCLING IN QUEBEC

Machinex is proud to announce the design, manufacturing, and installation of Quebec’s first recycling facility built to meet the requirements of the province’s curbside recycling system reform under the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework. Inaugurated today, the Montreal-Est Material Recovery Facility (MRF) was developed in collaboration with Éco Entreprises Québec (ÉEQ), the Designated Management Organization (DMO) for this initiative.

A STEP FORWARD IN PLASTIC RECYCLING: PURECYCLE TECHNOLOGIES TEAMS UP WITH MACHINEX TO OPEN A NEW PRE-PROCESSING PLASTICS FACILITY

Machinex is pleased to announce its collaboration with PureCycle Technologies Inc. to deliver a 100% automated sorting system in Denver, PA dedicated to plastics recycling. PureCycle, a leading polypropylene recycler, transforms polypropylene into ultra-pure recycled resin, enabling it to be used multiple times as a renewable resource. This facility has the capacity to process 10 metric tons per hour relying on zero manual sorters.

With great pride, Machinex was awarded the “Innovator of the Year” prize by the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) on October 16, as well as the “Innovation and Environmental Protection” prize at the Envirolys Gala held on November 4. These two awards highlight the company’s significant contribution to the green economy, both in Quebec and internationally, and recognize its technological innovations.

MACHINEX TRANSFORMS THE DAILY LIFE OF ITS EMPLOYEES: WELCOME TO “LES PETITS M” DAYCARE

Machinex is proud to announce the official opening of its new private subsidized daycare, Les Petits M. The inauguration took place on June 20th at its facility in Plessisville. With a capacity of 85 children, this daycare aims to support the daily lives of parents employed by Machinex and address the demand for daycare spots in the Plessisville community and its surroundings. The facility includes a triple nursery (5-18 months), six multi-age groups (18-48 months), and two preschool groups (48-60 months).
